Face Scars

The most common reason for scars on the face is Acne. Scars on the face can also  be a result of injuries, chicken pox, accidents , or sometimes, spontaneously due to a condition called Atrophoderma Vermiculatum.

Scars are of various types like ice-pick, rolling, boxcar etc. They may be shallow or deep.

Very shallow scars respond to retinoid creams. But the deeper a scar is, the lesser improvement you will have with topical treatment. The scar tissue is in the deeper layers of skin. In order to reach these layers, we must use either microneedling or CO2 Laser.

At Twacha, we have an excellent scar management protocol. Treatment schedules are  combinations of medium depth peels, microneedling, PRP and LASER resurfacing.
